Thursday Thirteen #1= Thirteen Jobs

Thirteen Jobs That I Have Been To

1.shoe maker- Our place is known as the shoe city and there are many small entrepreneurs here that hire job part timers.During summer, I did try this shoe making job

2.house cleaner- I remember that when I was still very young, I volunteered to wipe our neighbor's stairs. The compensation I got was their farm's produce.Fruits and vegetables!

3.fast food crew- I worked in one of the most popular fast foods in our country. The job was not that easy because it was inside a mall where it is always peak!

4.Construction supplies’ saleslady- Yes, I used to kilo those nails.Lift cans of paints.

5.Masseur- Yeah, but for my Dad only.I was compensated of course!

6.Nanny- Well, this is one job that prepared me to become a good mother.

7.Dishwasher- Yes.Everything was scarce during that time.I hate dish washing but I had to earn some money.

8.Call Center Agent- This is one job I enjoyed most.I love talking to people. Not until I realized that even a kid can manipulate me.

9.Writer- Look now! That was during high school. My friends asked me to write their assignments in our English Composition subject.Well, that meant free lunch and lots of friends! My English teacher got mad though when she found out.

10.Tutor- As you know, I was very studious then.I love kids too.

11.Secretary- Another job I enjoyed.Being with the boss most of the time meant meeting more people.Eating at hotels and fancy restaurants.

12.Purchaser- This was okay also. There were many freebies but I did not get them.I let my employer knows it.

13.Time keeper- I had to be careful with this.If there were any mistakes, it was either the workers or the accountant that would get mad!

Call Center is a job I did too. I liked it, but we would get some real upset people. I worked for an airline. Some days you got yelled at and some days you didn't.

You've had almost as many jobs as me! I never made shoes though.

Great list - I too have washed dishes for a living and done commerical house keeping in hotels (urgh!) not the most exciting of jobs, nor stimulating but like you - paid the bills at the time.

You'd never catch me in a call centre - I have a phone phobia and have a hard time tring to answer the home phone.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my TT!

I also worked in #s 3, 7, and 8 on your list. My least favorite of the 3 was perhaps fast food. I could probably do a Thursday Thirteen on the reasons I hated working in the fast food industry.
