Heads or Tails- Mother

Mother and child sculpture, Tsfat, August 10, 2007 dsc02533

We might not have the best relationship a mother and a child could have.

I want you to know that I love you even though it is still hard for me to reach out.

I think of you every time.

You are in my prayers.

In my thoughts.

I want to give you more if only I could.

I know you understand.

I want to forget the past and move on.

I have started as you can see.

Still I am not proud.

What we have right now is like a mirror with a line

but still can reflect that indeed, we are Mom and daughter...

The images seen say it.

One time, and I pray that it will be sooner, that mirror be fixed or maybe we can have

a new one.

Heartfelt poem. I am not able to share like that but it must be enriching to be able to put your feelings in words. Thanks

Ohhhh.. I can really relate to this. It took me and my mom a long time to move beyond the past and become friends.

My mum and me have had our ups and downs so I can relate to this. Great photo.

A great poem.
If we didn't have a moment with our parents I don't think it part of growing up.

Mine is up.

Beautiful honest poem. I hope the mirror is fixed for both of you. Sounds like you are well on the way to healing old hurts and seeing one another more clearly.
