Science is my son's favorite subject

My son, I know that one day, he will give me a lecture about the things that he will use for his invention. Yes, he wants to be a scientist! Well, that is one of his aspirations at least! Anyways, I know that he will get bored when he took Chemistry and Physics, just like I did, hahahaha!

I make it a point to always converse with my son every time we have time. I ask him how school is. His favorite subject, guess what? Science! To think that he is better in Math, he is really amazed by everything that he learns in his Science subject. Maybe, because he can actually see most of the things that they study about like plants, animals, sun, moon and others. Oh, I cannot wait when he studies about the elements or the periodic table. Well, you know, how about Halogen that is actually not that visible enough. Well, I can just tell him that a Halogen Free Solder Paste is used for making the computer that he loves to use? Oh, I now, just have him google it! :)

I think he should see some Prototype SMT Stencils to further capture his interest.

Beauty for men and women

Happy New Year to all! One great way to start 2012 is to make new plans. Maybe for others, to pursue a long time dream. My friend Kay would like to have her own beauty business and her first step is going to a Cosmetology school. It is really a good decision especially if she will go to a cosmetology school of Regency Beauty Institute. Well, practice makes perfect. Going to a Regency Beauty Institute would be able to give everything that a beginner needs. They have a complete package that would hone a Beautician in you.

It excites me

I cannot imagine going back to school again. Well, maybe not to a course that I do not want. How about a Cosmetology school? Now, that gets me excited! Yes, I always wanted to study Beauty. I am amused on how a person looks after make up and hair styling. Indeed, those make-up and hair accessories combined with the magic wand of the creator do really make a difference! Yes, let me go to that school now!

In US, Regency is considered as a good school of beauty. It has many branches already to cater more students who would like to try a different course, this time. Beauty is in the mind of everyone. Thus, after graduation, surely, there is a good future for those who will pursue this career.

Take care of my looks

It is a bad hair day again for me? My officemates always tease me like that as they see me with oily face and big unfixed hair. One Christmas, one of them gave me a hair treatment bottle. The other one, I received a make-up. Oh, buying those beauty products is not actually my problem. The real deal is that I really do not know how to make myself beautiful like applying make up or doing my hair. Yes, I need to learn.

One of my friends told me about Chattanooga beauty school. She said that she might go there once she received what she was waiting for from the company she is working for. She will pursue her dream to become a make-up artist. I told her that it is a great plan! Well, something played inside my mind. :) I told her that by then, I could hire her to take care of my looks! She smiled!

The real thing

My brother will be graduating from high school this school year. Time flies. I could still remember the time when I used to be his nanny when he was only a toddler. Now he is almost six feet tall and will be entering College in no time. I asked him what he wants to be but it seemed that he has not thought of it yet. He is still enjoying his high school life. Come College, it will be a whole lot different. I advised him to research degrees that might get his interest. Yes, it is advisable that you take the course that you really like to avoid shifting. Moreover, whatever it is that you take in College will draw the path that you will follow in your life. It will be the real thing.

My beautiful friend

Good thing of having a friend is you have someone to talk to about everything. I am lucky to have one in the office. Good thing we are sort of team mates these days as I cross post at their team since they need more people to do their backlog. Yesterday, we were talking about life and our dreams. Yes, sometimes, we do not feel contented of what we have. The job we are in is for sustaining our daily needs. We actually hope that we will be offered an early retirement so that we can use the money that we will receive for the things that we love to do. Enrolling in a Cosmetology School in Austin is what she likes. She is a beautiful person and loves going to spa to pamper herself so she is thinking that knowing the basics in beautification will be like hitting two birds in one stone. You know, she can use it for her own needs and she can put up a business and earn from it! Clever, dear friend!

Not talkative

The day is almost over. So far, I and my husband was able to iron things out. He did a costume for the nutrition month. Actually, it was just a hat with fruits. Well, he made some effort since the hat is made of Styrofoam and he had to sew in the fruits. All's well that ends well. I asked my son what did the teacher say of his effort and he said nothing... WHAT!!!!??? Anyways, my son is not that talkative or in the habit of remembering what the teachers say about him or his work.I hope that he improves on that in the future if not the soonest.

Costume for the nutrition month.

I have lots of things to do but my mind is blank. One thing, I am sort of a little mad with my husband. Well, he told me that my son has an assignment and that is to wear a costume tomorrow. That is in connection with the nutrition month. Thus, our son is expected to be a vegetable or any kind of food. He said that it is impossible. He said that he will not do it. I argued with him and told him that it is possible. I just gave him some ideas a while ago like red pepper, milk or egg. Those costumes are real easy to make. I wonder what was running in his mind when he said that it is not possible at all. Well, I do not like my son to be out of place thus by hook or by crook, he must have a costume tomorrow.

Thinking ahead

I think that this early I should research college degrees for my son. I should do some forecasting already on what could be his future college course. You might think that it is literally thinking ahead, huh! I am also entertaining the idea of an online education. Well, I think that it is safer. Anyways, there are already accredited online schools that offers really good courses in College and promise a good job. I just do not know if there is online Nursing and online Medicine. I believe that there are Allied Medical Health courses already, though. My son actually has so many dreams to become one. Before, he wanted to be a doctor, then a policeman, then a painter, and so many more. Maybe I should observe him and see his inclinations and then hone it.

Study at home

I believe that getting continuous education is very important. In offices, there are occasional trainings for the chosen few. Yes, not everyone is entitled to special trainings though everybody needs it.

Even in the medical field, there are seminars being held from time to time to update on the latest.

I myself, want to not only attend seminars or trainings but also to really go back to school. However, I have to consider lots of things. One of those is time and money. I am working and I need to earn for my family. Thanks to online universities. They answered my question. I could take an online degree instead. Well, I could do that at the comforts of my own home. I just have to make sure that the schedule would fit in.

I found Capella university and this online university offers many courses. I would definitely find the one that I need to take.

Going back to school

I am not contented with life right now and I want something new. I want more! I want to be more successful. That is why I am thinking of going back to school to add something on my resume. However, I do not like to go to regular school. I might just settle for online college courses as of the moment. Anyways, there is Capella University where I could go to. This online university is stable and had catered many students already. I am interested in taking up information technology and I am glad that Capella has this course. Present in every home

I went to my son's school today to check on the tuition fee. It did not increase as I expected it to. There is just and additional P1500 for computer class. I do not know how they would teach my son about something he already know. Anyways, I know that its purpose is for those kids who do not have a computer at home. But is there any? I think a computer is already present in every home.

Fallback

The current global recession gave me a wake up call. Do I have any fallback just in case I would be one of those who would lost a job? That made me think of taking a degree online in the field of information technology maybe since this is the in thing nowadays. The IT experts and consultants are one of the highest paid individuals in the company I am working for. My other choice is a medical course or a masteral maybe which is related to my previous course under allied medical sciences. I know one online university that offers quality education so I just have to decide when I would enroll.

I am thinking of getting an online education. Now, my dilemma is what to choose from those online college courses. Of course, I should weigh possibilities and there are factors that I should really consider. Number one is if I really like what I am going to decide on. I already have a college degree and my line of work right now has no relation in whatever way to that degree. I do not want it to happen again. Another most important thing to consider is the job opportunities after graduation. Oh, I should have put number one in the list the online school of course where I should get that course!

It would help to research or maybe better yet listen to online podcasts from online students and teachers. Capella University has that! Well then, I should just check this online university.

Widen your horizons

Almost IT engineers in the company that I am working for have resigned and went abroad a few years ago. My friend’s husband is one of them. She told us how much higher the IT professional are getting in other countries. That is why, her husband continues to purchase books, study online, and attend seminars. When you are in the information technology field, there is always something new. You can never be left behind or else, someone better can always replace you.

My friend, together with their daughter joined her husband already. They have been traveling from one country to another because offers that come in are on project basis. Life is a matter of priority

Do you know why the words need and want are existing? Because, life is a matter of priority. There are many things that we want but do we really need them?

Today, we went to enroll our child who will be going to formal schooling for the first time. We can actually pay for the monthly scheme but then again, we already have the money to pay for the whole year tuition fee. Therefore, we decided to pay in full and bought the books and uniforms.

Actually, we were about to go to mall today but we do not have the money anymore. Well, at least we do not have anything to worry about for the whole semester.

The Criteria

What could be the criteria in finding a good technical school? Would it be on its products? Whenever we see a successful person in the field of Information technology, we immediately ask if he was the graduate of one of the best tech schools in town. Once we find out, we will definitely list that school down and consider going there for an IT training one time.

Good Food

We got excited with the news about our local showbiz personalities here. Apparently, the man sent her girlfriend to a chef school as a gift. He even looked for culinary schools abroad to find the best one. He did it because they own a restaurant. Now, her cooking skills will be more developed. That means good food for its customers.

How about you? Why don’t you try going to a culinary school? After all, food is always a stable and profitable business.

The Best Inheritance

Education is the best gift that you can give to your children. If you do not have wealth, it is the only inheritance that you can leave to them. That is why it is a must that you send them to school. Encourage them to study. Help them to gain knowledge. Make them get the interest and enjoy being in that classroom until one day, they will be the one who will be excited enough to wake up and wear their school uniform.
