This photo was taken at Baluarte in Ilocos. This is owned by one of the famous names in the Philippines, the Singsons. Almost all of the animals there are free interacting with the visitors. This one really caught my attention. What a poised walk, don't you think? I think she should be my model.

It does have a poised look, I have never seen an ostrich so close.

I have had several shots of this ostrich, too -- I could say that among all the animals in Baluarte, the ostriches are the most free to roam around. Did you meet Rufo the Monkey there? He's my favorite!
