Time alone

I still feel sick but I have to wake up. There are lots of things to do and I really have to open my eyes and get going each day. It is needed for me to be able to put food at the table. Sometimes, I wonder if life should really be this hard. when you already feel this way, I think you need to take a pose and rest. Yes, I am telling this myself. I need a VACATION!

Vacation is really needed by everyone. That is why in the office, we are given 15 days vacation leave, right? Even if you are already married and have children, you still need that vacation. We came from a party today. My friend who lives abroad is here in the country. They have made it a tradition to spend the first birthday of their kids here. This time, we went to celebrate the first birthday of their second child.

We had to attend because I do not want to burn bridges. We only have few friends and by not getting in touch with them means cutting whatever friendship left. You know...

If there is something that I would invest on, it would definitely be gold. There are so many kinds of gold though. There is white, yellow, reddish, Chinese, American, and so many others. Gold has really become something that is popular not just for women but also for men, kids and adults alike. A few moment in the lips, forever in the hips. I was busy eating bread with cream cheese when I got curious on the calorie count of the cheese. Oh, no! The cup would mean 2800 calories! To think that I almost finished half the cup! It tasted great, that was why! Now, I have to rethink about buying one again. I guess, I have to content myself with cottage cheese!

Who is my favorite?

Sometimes my boss has this habit of putting someone in the spot. She held a meeting last time for the victims of flash flood. She said that she just wanted to know how it has been for the victims and to sort of give some moral support. However, since there seemed nothing to talk about as the meeting has no agenda, she just tried to fish some information on how her core is doing. She asked the agents about how the team leaders are doing.

Who is my favorite? I said, no one. That person should be someone that I could look up to.

A Time For Everything

My husband had just finished Die Hard so he was here wanting me to stop what I am doing also.Hey, I am working, I said. He said that there is a time for everything. I am guilty! Today is my last rest day for the week and for the past four days; I have not really been giving my husband and son the quality time that I am supposedly proud of. They are out right now. They are just driving around the village for some fresh air. So, me, I just have to post this and I have to do some cooking(?).Well, I will try to be a better wife and mom even for some hours.

I and my husband used to eat as if it is our last day on earth. That could be the reason why I grew this big, eh! Imagine ordering all those chicken, spaghetti, French fries, hamburger and fries. Wait, we still have sundae for dessert.That was our usual movie treat! Yeah, before or after watching a movie, we ate all those in one sitting. Even during fine dining, we also pig out.

Sign of maturity

How time flies. Before, what we are just talking about are sort of shallow like new clothes and new shoes. Now, we are talking used cars, condominiums, houses, investments and the future! Sign of maturity? Yes, we are not getting any younger anymore and we have our responsibilities for the younger generation.

We already have our own house. It is just small though. My husband wanted to buy a bigger one once we already have enough resources. As of me, I would like to buy a car. Hard to find a job

More hours in a day

The alarm clock is ringing. Uh,oh! I would like to hide under the flat sheets. More sleep, please! I am begging. Give me another hour! I would not be productive if I lack sleep. Then, why did you go to bed so late?

Sometimes, 24 hours is not enough for the things that you would like to do, right? I really wish that there are at least 48 h ours in a day. If that would happen, I would definitely give sleeping ten to twelve hours.

My best is not enough

It is somewhat painful for me to realize that I am working hard but I am unnoticed. However, maybe my best is not enough in their eyes. Maybe it is just me who thinks that I am good or better than anybody else. But, that should be the attitude, right? You should have that self confidence for you to survive the jungle. Anyways, I decided that I would just have to do my best for me to keep my job. It is hard to find another job these days and the company I am working for is more than generous enough giving us a competitive compensation and benefits compared to other companies.

Study at home

I believe that getting continuous education is very important. In offices, there are occasional trainings for the chosen few. Yes, not everyone is entitled to special trainings though everybody needs it.

Even in the medical field, there are seminars being held from time to time to update on the latest.

I myself, want to not only attend seminars or trainings but also to really go back to school. However, I have to consider lots of things. One of those is time and money. I am working and I need to earn for my family. Thanks to online universities. They answered my question. I could take an online degree instead. Well, I could do that at the comforts of my own home. My son already developed the sense of fright or sense of fear. I do not like it. He is now afraid to be left alone especially during night time. He always want somebody beside him. Baby talk

My friend's daughter is about to turn one this July. Ever since she gave birth, her favorite hobby is to buy baby gifts for her daughter. Yes, she buys her new things almost every week. I understand her because I have been in that stage too when I had my son. I buy him new bottles, mittens, socks, blankets, clothes, every time I visit the mall. It was fun. I never noticed that my child had tons of baby items already.

My son and I were not able to say our night prayers last night. I arrived around 10 PM and he was already asleep. Well he has an early morning schedule for his classes. We woke up at 6Am and I asked him to recite our morning prayer cum evening prayer. Part of that prayer is asking Lord for more jobs and claiming it. And, voila! I got as many. Thank You, Lord!

Second baby

I am dreaming of a second Honeymoon. Yes, I would like to have another baby soon! Our first child is turning six by December.

I could still remember when we were still young, we went to play billiards with friends. Oh, there are so many people there playing pool. There are young ones. There are old ones. It is rainy season. Be careful on your way. The road is really slippery when wet. Moreover, you might catch a cold that might progress to cough and eventually flu. I got one and it really made me regret not bringing my umbrella. Do not forget your raincoats and jackets too!

I heard from one acquaintance though that I am sort of a high maintenance. I am not. I actually expect nothing material from my friends. I actually expect nothing at all. That is because I am not that rich too? Ha,ha,ha!

I really love blogging. I get to know myself in the process. Call it crazy but it is like talking to myself through writing.

Going back to school

I am not contented with life right now and I want something new. I want more! I want to be more successful. That is why I am thinking of going back to school to add something on my resume. However, I do not like to go to regular school. I might just settle for online college courses as of the moment. Anyways, there is Capella University where I could go to. Be a better person

These past few days, I have been letting some opportunities slip in my hands. I choose REST from WORK. Well, I just feel tired and I think I deserve to rest. However, I could not be like this for the rest of my life. I have to act on it and be a better person.

I hope that I am fine

I worked for a construction company before. I was exposed to dust, smell of paints, wood smell, gravel and sand smell and everything that is associated with construction. It was a big house that we were constructing before. It was around 1500 square meters. Imagine all the paints that we used for that house! I was in the purchasing department. Yes, I was not one of the construction workers. However, I had to be at the site also so that I could see first hand what we needed. I wonder why I was so carefree then and did not even wear a mask every time that I visited the site. Well, no one really wore a mask. I realized that I got a serious allergic cough that time. It was with me for three months.

Now, I read about mesothelioma. I am asking myself if I had an allergic cough or mesothelioma? To think that my employer then did not even buy me a single tablet,huh! I would like to learn hacking. What is it, really? I only heard it from some friends saying that they know how to hack certain secured programs in the internet like an E-book or a game or a certain application that needs payment yet they could access it for free. I wonder if they really know how to hack.

Hacking or big time hacking had gone a long way destroying company systems and putting threat even to the biggest names in the computer world. It is now a concern for IT Security. Thus, all companies with IT departments always perform routine check ups, clean ups, etc.

Many had texted me and greeted me a happy mother's day! When was this celebration started? Did it already exist when I was still a kid? I could not remember a single day that I greeted my Mom a happy mom's day during my childhood.

My mother and I were not really close. We do not have the same bond that a mother and daughter usually have. it is a good thing that I do not have a daughter of my own or else, I might have a hard time bringing her up.

Anyways, forgive and forget. She is still my mother.

I dream that life is easy. I dream that life is a bed of roses. I dream that there is peace. I dream that everybody is healthy and no one gets sick. I dream... Oh, I have to wake up and realize that not all my dreams would come true. They would forever be just products of my imagination. Only a dream. Nothing more.

No hard time to adjust

There are many things to consider when you are looking for your permanent residence or a place to live in. Real estate agents are very aware of that thus you could see in their flyers all the things that you would like to see like, prime location, near the basic necessities in life like school, hospital, supermarket, malls, church and the like. How about the weather? Have you seen a campaign material that talks about the weather of the place? I think that it is important too. The weather sometimes depend on the landscape of the place. Is it hilly, meaning there are many trees or is it near the mountain? The place where I came from is located at the foot of a big mountain. It is usually rainy there thus it feels cold. I actually like it there.

I plan to migrate to another country. Looking at the landscape design in Scottsdale AZ, I think it could be a best place for me and my family. The weather there is almost the same as we are having right now. We would not have any hard time to adjust.

I went to my son's school today to check on the tuition fee. It did not increase as I expected it to. There is just and additional P1500 for computer class. I do not know how they would teach my son about something he already know. Anyways, I know that its purpose is for those kids who do not have a computer at home. But is there any? I think a computer is already present in every home.

Who says that jewelries are just for women? It could be for men too? I think of men who wears bracelets or necklaces fashionable. Gone are those days that jewelry is only for women. I would never say goodbye to Entrecard. It might be EC the one to say goodbye to me. Well, I have not really been active in dropping ECs. I am really busy with other stuffs. Anyways, I am thankful to those who still took time to drop by. I am not as popular as the others though who take dropping seriously. This is the best example of love begets love philosophy.

Wood and more wood

I went to my friend's new house and I noticed that her home's theme is mostly wood as can be seen in the stairs, floor, beds, tables, chairs, cabinets, and others. Wood, wood and more wood. It gave me the idea on what to give her on her next birthday, a log furniture! These table lamps would go well with the table by her bedside. I am sure she would love this.

Many people go for wood. Actually you could do so many things with it. You could paint it with different colors. What I have seen at scenic furniture are mostly of the natural color of a log. Maybe if they could experiment with a dark paint or even some interesting mixes, that would expand the selection and could reach more people.

A breath of fresh air

I, myself needs a honeymoon getaway. With my husband, of course! Going to a beach is always an option. For once, just lying on the sand watching the sky above. Oh, I am excited to do that. The question is when. I hope, soon!

I am now searching for the perfect place to go to. I want an exotic place. I want to try new things also like good food. I read that there are some beaches in Mexico that you could mistake for a paradise. That could just be the place where we could have a breath of fresh air. Maybe we would save for one of those Karisma Hotels.

The cookies are mine!

My son does not eat all kinds of food. That is why I always think of him whenever I go to a food store. I bought today home mad freshly baked cookies. A jar actually! He loves it! One thing that is not actually a good trait he developed, he would not give something that he likes. Maybe he is thinking that it is the only thing that he has whereas we could have all the others. Okay, son- the cookies are all yours!

No Palm on its Sunday

It is Palm Sunday! Good thing it is my rest day, at least I could go to church with my family. I hope we could still grab a designed palm for the celebration.

We went to church for the second to the last mass for the evening. No more palm. Anyways, we were just so happy that we could make it to church today. It was not as crowded as last year or maybe there were more people during the morning masses.

My friend asked me to be her proxy in the baptism of her godchild. At first, I thought it would be fine. When I got there, everybody thought that I was her. Well, the people there have not seen her for a long time. I have no blood relations whatsoever to my friend but since we are always together, maybe that did the trick. :)

Fallback

The current global recession gave me a wake up call. Do I have any fallback just in case I would be one of those who would lost a job? That made me think of taking a degree online in the field of information technology maybe since this is the in thing nowadays. The IT experts and consultants are one of the highest paid individuals in the company I am working for. My other choice is a medical course or a masteral maybe which is related to my previous course under allied medical sciences. We are all excited for the summer time and this early, we are looking for All inclusive family vacations. Yes, we have not really gone out of town as a family.
