Scribbling once again

I remember my friend who encouraged me to write and make my own blog. I admit, the biting factor is the opportunity to earn from writing. But believe me, it is more than that. It is like meeting myself again. I used to compose songs, poems and even stories during my younger years. But then again, I forgot or had no time and eventually stopped. She said that she knows I can write again. So, I did. Even though, I am not really a great one but being able to express myself is enough. So, thanks my friend. The money that I am earning now, though not that big has been helping me to make both ends meet. And yes, I feel somehow fulfilled that I am scribbling some words through these keypads once more.

The quote by Mark Twain is for her and for all the people who bring out the best in me.

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

About Mark Twain
Samuel Clemens, the iconic American humorist and writer, is better known by his pen name Mark Twain. He was born in 1835 in Missouri. He worked at several jobs, including steamboat pilot and miner. He wrote The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Prince and the Pauper, and other successful novels. His writing captured a very American vernacular and flavor, and helped create a distinctive American literature. He died in 1910.

I completely identify! I love writing, but first with school, then with work, I totally lost track with it. And I really missed it. Then I started blogging, and when I found out i could be paid to post, well I havent looked back! Ive had snarky comments made to me, both by friends and strangers, but not on the writing, just that its paid. But the money lets me travel more AND im paid to write, something I dreamed of doing for years!
